Working Draft Summer Camp
July 19–22, 2026
Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus

By registering for the Working Draft Summer Camp, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Registration & Payment

  • The total cost of attendance is $650. Optional add-ons are available at an additional cost.
  • Payment may be made in full or through a payment plan.
  • All payments are non-refundable, including deposits and full payments. No exceptions will be made for cancellations, personal conflicts, or emergencies.

2. Attendance Capacity

  • Attendance is limited to 30 participants to ensure an intimate and productive retreat environment and is subject to approval by the retreat organizers.

3. Travel & Accommodations

  • Participants are responsible for their own travel to and from Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus at: 2710 S Country Club Rd, Woodstock, IL 60098.
  • Any personal travel needs or transportation during the retreat are also the responsibility of the attendee.

4. Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all. By participating in this retreat, you agree to the following:

  • Treat all attendees, facilitators, and staff with respect and courtesy.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • Maintain a spirit of collaboration, creativity, and community.
  • Attendees agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal information shared by others during the retreat.
  • The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant from the retreat, without refund, if they violate this code of conduct.

5. Photo & Media Release

By attending the retreat, you consent to the use of any photographs, video, or audio recordings taken during the event for promotional or archival purposes. If you prefer not to appear in media, please notify the organizers in writing prior to the retreat.


6. Force Majeure

In the event that the Working Draft Summer Camp is prevented from occurring due to circumstances beyond the control of the organizer — including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, acts of war, labor strikes, personal injury, medical emergency, or other unforeseen accidents affecting the organizer, or other unforeseen emergencies — such occurrences shall constitute a Force Majeure event.

Should a Force Majeure event arise, the organizer shall notify all attendees in writing within 48 hours of determining the event cannot proceed. In such cases, the organizer may, at their discretion:

1. Issue a full refund to the original payment method,

2. Provide a credit for future events of equal value, or

3. Offer a rescheduled event date, with registrations valid for the new date.

No party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to a Force Majeure event. All decisions regarding refunds or rescheduling will be made in good faith with reasonable effort to accommodate attendees.

In the event that the Working Draft Summer Camp is canceled by the organizer for any reason not classified as Force Majeure, all attendees shall be entitled to a full refund.

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment within 10 business days of the cancellation notice. The organizer will notify all attendees via email within 48 hours of the decision to cancel the event.

The organizer may also offer attendees the option to receive credit toward a future event or transfer their registration to a rescheduled date, if applicable. Attendees must respond to the refund or transfer offer within 15 days of receiving notice.


7. Health and Safety

Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety.

Emergency medical care will be sought if necessary, but attendees are responsible for their own insurance coverage.


8. Liability Waiver

By attending the retreat, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with travel, group activities, and physical movement. The organizer is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to property.


9. Agreement

By submitting your registration and payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the above terms and conditions.

The organizer reserves the right to update or modify the Terms without advance notice by posting revised Terms to this website. The organizer reserves the right to change this agreement at any time without further notice.
